Welcome to Lou Litster Park. Coastal Dry Tropics Landcare Inc. have been caring for this site since 1986. This Landcare site encompasses the pathway, the mangroves along Ross Creek, Sandy Crossing and land across the bridge towards Boundary Street. This gives the site great variability in the habitats established for the wildlife that are found in the area. Mangrove and riparian species are found along the creek bank and give way to dry tropical bushland the further you travel from the creek. Enjoy the site and take a closer look at just how native, natural bushland can be integrated into urban green spaces with the help of the community.
Meet us at the meeting point near the carpark on Queens Rd.
